Our processing facility
We’ve been hand-crafting premium hair creations in our processing facility for over 30 years. With proven methods, secret formulas and the latest patented technology, we ensure that every single Hairdreams creation is unique.
Our experts carefully check and sort each individual hair by colour; only around 30% of the hair we process meets our strict quality standards. Through this careful selection process, we guarantee that only the finest hair goes on to become a Hairdreams creation. This is Remy hair: hair whose cuticles are intact and oriented in the same direction.
The secrets of premium Hairdreams hair
The raw hair quality is key
Raw hair refers to hair that is processed into various hair products such as extensions. It’s not uncommon for companies to pay little attention to the condition of the raw hair they sell. In many cases, dyed, bleached or damaged raw hair is coated in silicone so that it appears healthy and strong at first glance. After a few washes, the shocking truth emerges, however: the shine fades, and the hair becomes matted and straw-like.
Hairdreams avoids these business practices. Our philosophy is based on the premise that high-quality hair creations can only be made from high-quality raw hair. That’s why we exclusively use healthy and untreated raw hair that has been neither dyed or bleached.
European raw hair is the only type we use for our creations. But what is European raw hair exactly? There are three basic types of hair: African, Asian, and European. They differ in shape and thickness; European hair is silkier and smoother and is the only hair type that naturally occurs in (ash) blonde, red and light brown tones. We sort into colours strand by strand so that we don’t have to treat the hair with potentially harmful chemicals to get the desired colour.

Our raw hair comes from all around the world — from Eastern Europe and Russia to countries throughout the Caucasus and as far away as South America. We procure our raw hair from anywhere that people are willing to provide their hair for payment. The basic requirement is that their own (raw) hair is not chemically treated in any way such as dyed or bleached.
We adhere to a strict code of ethical guidelines that goes far beyond the typical standards of our industry. Hairdreams hair can be worn with pride and a clear conscience.

Creating Hairdreams hair
An intricate manufacturing process, thousands of hours of work and hundreds of trained hands guarantee unparalleled hair quality.
Incoming quality control
The first task is to check the keratin content to determine whether the raw hair is healthy and not dyed. After that, the surface structure is inspected: hair with split ends or damaged hair cuticles is immediately discarded. Additionally, the colour and elasticity of the hair must be satisfactory for the hair to be processed further.
Hand-sorted by length
The sorted hair is laid out, measured by hand and painstakingly subdivided according to length. We take great care to ensure that the batches do not contain any short lengths. This guarantees that Hairdreams hair has a uniform strength and volume from the roots to the ends.
Imperial quality
For our Imperial quality, the hair from each batch is sorted according to colour with tweezers and a magnifier. Since this hair already is sorted and arranged by colour tone, it does NOT have to be bleached and only toned slightly to match the colour selection, if need be. Blonde raw hair becomes blonde Hairdreams hair, brunette becomes brunette, without any chemical damage to the hair. The resulting virgin hair has an incomparably soft feel and an unsurpassed silky shine.
5-star hair
For our 5-STAR hair, we use dark, European raw hair. The hair is soaked in a gentle dye solution for several weeks as part of an intricate, multi-step process that ensures the hair matches the Hairdreams colour palette. The hair is treated and strengthened with keratin baths at regular intervals to create our outstanding 5-STAR quality with natural shine and healthy bounce.
Natural colour blending
All Hairdreams hair is gently intermixed with at least three to four subtly different tones. This process is called “blending”. The hair blends in with your own hair since it also consists of several subtly different colour tones. The colour blending is one of the reasons why Hairdreams hair looks incredibly natural.
Direction alignment of the hair
We use our own special and patented procedure to guarantee that our hair is 100% Remy. Although painstaking, this process is essential as it ensures that every single hair is correctly aligned. If not the hair would become tangled and matted after the first few washes.
Keratin bath for an unparalleled shine
In the last stage of the refinement process, Hairdreams hair undergoes a protein treatment, where it soaks in keratin for 12 days. This makes the Hairdreams hair even more silky, soft and shiny.
Outgoing quality control
Finally, experts test the hair for tensile strength and elasticity. Only then is it turned into an end product e.g. bonded or tape extensions or MicroLines, and sent to our Hairdreams headquarters and distribution centre in Graz. From there the Hairdreams hair is sent out around the world.

Root Shadows: from fashionable balayage looks to natural make-up effects
The two-tone Root Shadows are available with short and long colour gradients that are particularly gentle and thus blend very harmoniously with the natural hair.
They are therefore not only perfect for the trendy balayage look, but can also emphasise the shape of the face in such a way that conventional make-up becomes superfluous! The secret of this so-called “HairContouring” lies in the targeted arrangement of dark and light strands of hair around the face.

We love long hair. And we love making long-hair dreams come true. We stock bundles up to a proud 60 cm. Still not long enough for you? Upon request, we can also produce extra-long hair up to 80 cm.
9 textures – something for every hair type
From super straight to slightly wavy and tight curls – we sell extensions to suit every hair texture. The basic texture of our hair is straight with a slight beachy wave when air dried, but can be curled with a curling iron or permed to achieve a desired style.
